WRL is excited to announce the 2027 Schedule of Events!

2027 isn't just another year for World Racing League - 2027 will be a revolution. A revolution led by our competitors, empowered by our partners and anchored in the exact grassroots passion that defines us. This announcement contains some incredible news, but it is truly just the beginning.

Across WRL's 12 year history we've consistently found that success lies at intersection of creativity, conscientiousness, and teamwork. While much of the world has turned its back on these tenants, we have overwhelming evidence that the racing community remains firmly grounded in them.

Below you will find 10 confirmed dates, within them is proof that commitment to the values above can achieve what some thought impossible. The reputation we've built and the incredible opportunities we have today are owed entirely to our teams, our competitors and everyone who continues to support our efforts - and for this we're incredibly thankful.

WRL is just getting started - 2026 saw massive growth in the areas of technology, competition, parity, broadcast, media and more. If you haven't looked at WRL in a while, it's time to look again - the best version of WRL has arrived, and it only gets better from here. We can't wait to share the rest of what we have in store- we look forward to doing incredible things together in 2027 and well beyond.

Eagles Canyon Raceway — Feb 5 - 7, 2027

WRL is excited to announce that Eagles Canyon Raceway has been selected once again as the first round of the 2027 WRL Championship Season! Eagles Canyon offers drivers lots of elevation, great flow and even better racing.

ECR has been a great partner to WRL and we want to put on the best show possible - tell your friends, bring them along and help us make our 2027 season-opener at ECR our best yet!

Barber Motorsports Park — Feb 26 - 28, 2027

Max Track Time Open Test - Feb 25, 2027

Barber motorsports park is BACK as the 2nd round of the 2027 WRL Championship season! Aptly nicknamed the "Augusta National of racetracks", Barber never disappoints! This 2.38 mile, 16 turn facility boasts a ton of elevation, huge technicality and race-ability that makes this a WRL favorite every year.

Thunderhill Raceway Park — Apr 2 - 4, 2027

Open Test - TBC

Thunderhill Raceway Park is back for 2027 in WRL's continued commitment to bringing the very best of endurance racing to the West coast! This newly repaved facility has seen massive investments this year and we're excited to bring WRL back to the West coast at an optimal time of year.

Road America — Apr 30 - May 2, 2027

Max Track Time Open Test - Apr 29, 2027

WRL makes it's annual trip north for the 4th round of the 2027 championship season at Road America. As one of the only tracks that has maintained it's original configuration and course design since it's opening as a dedicated road course, Road America is a truly unique (and fast) experience. Race the kink with us at one of our most popular events this coming April!

This event has moved back 1 week from our historical date to allow 4-weeks of turnaround after Thunderhill and move us towards warmer weather - huge thank you to Road America for accommodating this adjustment!

DAYTONA — Jun 4 - 5, 2027

Max Track Time Open Test - Jun 3, 2027

WRL heads back to Daytona in 2027 for the 5th round of the 2027 season with 14 hours of racing finishing under the lights at the World Center of Racing! REGISTRATION INCLUDES FRIDAY TEST/QUALIFYING! Race this legendary 3.57 mile road course with us and enjoy the 31* banking, bus stop and of course the unforgettable Daytona sunset as we race into the night!

Road Atlanta — July 23 - 25, 2027

Max Track Time Open Test - Jul 22, 2027

WRL heads back to historic Road Atlanta for the 6th round of the 2027 WRL Championship season! This 2.55 mile road course has been the favorite track of many racers since they opened their doors in 1970. With extreme elevation changes, tons of speed and unmistakable character Road Atlanta is an absolute don't-miss.

Watkins Glen International — Aug 20 - 22, 2027

Max Track Time Open Test - Aug 19, 2027

Watkins Glen returns earlier in the schedule as the 7th round of the 2027 WRL season! Watkins Glen needs no introduction - high speeds, massive elevation and an atmosphere as epic as it is unique. Motorsports history doesn't get much deeper than this in North America! We're excited to offer this new date with less risk of winter's interference.

This event has moved 1 week earlier from our historical date to allow 4-weeks of turnaround ahead of West Desert - huge thank you to Watkins Glen for accommodating this adjustment!

West Desert (Utah) — Sep 17 - 19, 2027

Western Championship Finale

WRL heads back Burt Brothers Motorpark (formerly Utah Motorsports Campus / Miller) for the 8th round of the 2027 season following an EPIC inaugural event in 2025! Opened in 2006, this state of the art facility was named "Motorsports Facility of the Year" that year by the Professional Motorsports World Expo in Cologne, Germany. Offering some of the finest facilities in North America, a fast, technical track with lots of visual elevation and plenty of runoff.

This event has moved 1 week earlier from our 2026 date to allow 4-weeks of turnaround ahead of the 2027 Sebring East Championship - huge thank you to West Desert for accommodating this adjustment!

Sebring International — Oct 15 - 17, 2027

Eastern Championship Finale

WRL Heads back to Sebring International Raceway - the “birthplace of American Endurance Racing” for the 9th round of the 2027 season in ideal season. The best way to sum up Sebring is "iconic" - since 1950 this track has played hosts to the most famed drivers and teams that racing has ever seen. This date change means less date conflict with COTA allowing plenty of turn-around time between the regional and National Championships. Get ready to take on the bumps of this 3.74 mile, 17 turn icon in October of 2027.

COTA National Championship — Dec 2 - 3, 2027

National Championship Finale

You read that right -- World Racing League will return to Circuit of The Americas for the 11th consecutive US Endurance Championship December 2-3, 2027. Join us for an exclusive long-format, double-points Championship event finishing under the lights at Circuit of the Americas in December, 2027.

WRL's signature National Championship event has grown to garner international attention as one of the largest pro-am endurance racing events in the world and we're excited to continue offering this incredible event to the racing community in 2027 in partnership with Circuit of the Americas.

World Racing League and Circuit of the Americas remain aligned in our mission to offer the absolute best and most accessible endurance racing experience possible at North America's only permanent Formula 1 racetrack.

This Thursday / Friday format is new to the US Endurance Championship and one of the requirements for this event to continue. Expect a long-format, double-points endurance race finishing under the lights with a Saturday awards ceremony and year-end banquet.
