Hello, my name is Josh Ritchie, a freelance photographer who works with editorial, marketing, and advertising clients to bring their visual needs to life. This is where I’ll be sharing recent work, talking about behind-the-scenes moments from assignments, and giving some insights into my life working on visual storytelling.

I’d love the chance to work together, so please reach out.

Undying Support

Election day is fast approaching, and both sides being equally as passionate about their candidate has made for great visual fodder. Living in the shadow of Mar-a-Lago has allowed me to cover many of the newsy things surrounding Donald Trump. Most recently my good friend and New York Times photo editor Jeffery Furticella was kind enough to hire me to cover the lead-up to the indictment surrounding the Stormy Daniels case.

The assignment was to cover Trump supporters waiting for a glimpse of their "hero." I spent over a week fraternizing with my media colleagues and making images of ardent Trumpers. Throughout my time covering the story, I was reminded that the people I was photographing were willing to continue supporting the former President no matter the charges against him. Passion trumps all. (pun intended)
