TREE Foundation is excited to share that, alongside our partners at Siesta Key Chapel, we have been awarded a $9,168.21 grant from the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program to support upland hammock restoration in three priority zones on Siesta Key.

This project will help restore native habitat, strengthen local biodiversity, and protect one of Florida's unique ecosystems for generations to come. We are deeply grateful to our partners and the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program for investing in collaborative conservation that benefits both wildlife and our community!

Sometimes, a single conversation can spark a lifelong passion!

As part of the What You Do Matters project at Neshobe Elementary School, third grader Theo selected Dr. Meg Lowman as his "Character That Matters." After researching Meg's work and leading a virtual classroom conversation with her, Theo's passion for nature and confidence continued to grow.

We are honored to have played a small role in inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards and extend our heartfelt thanks to Theo, his classmates, and teacher Heather Best for sharing their wonderful project with TREE Foundation.

Want to make a difference? Every act of generosity helps grow tomorrow's environmental leaders while protecting forests around the world.

TREE Foundation is incredibly grateful to the fifth-grade students at Northeast Elementary School in Waltham, Massachusetts, who organized a penny drive to support our conservation work in Ethiopia.

Their generosity is a beautiful reminder that meaningful change doesn't depend on age or resources, it begins with compassion and a willingness to help. Every contribution helps protect forests, support local communities, and inspire hope for future generations.

To the students, teachers, and families who made this possible: thank you for helping grow a greener future!

Inspired by these stories? CanopyMeg offers free virtual classroom presentations that connect students with the wonders of trees and inspire meaningful action for forests around the world.

Your donation will help us support research, educate children and adults, and encourage citizen science exploration.

We must save our eighth continent if we are to save ourselves!

With enormous thanks,

Meg
