PARISH ACTIVITIES

This Sunday! Summer Forum: At the Intersection of Rome & Canterbury

Join us this coming Sunday, August 4 at 11:30 in the lower level of the Ed Building for a group discussion about the ups and the downs for Roman Catholics as they migrate toward The Episcopal Church. Led by St. Anne's new Assisting Priest, Fr. Mike Smith (himself a former Roman Catholic priest), the discussion will explore some of the primary reasons Roman Catholics are leaving their denomination in search of something else to feed their spiritual journey. We will also explore ways in which we can reach out to those who feel abandoned by the Roman Catholic Church.

Wednesday Word: Scripture, Coffee & Conversation

Looking for some Bible study and fellowship in a relaxed setting? Join us this summer as we gather in a local coffee shop and talk about the Scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday. We will gather on Wednesday mornings from 9 am to 10 am on August 7, 14, and 21. No expertise required; come to one or come to them all! Next meetup will be facilitated by Fr. Phil on 8/7 at Crimson Cup Coffee, 8249 Market Place Drive, West Chester OH 45069 (same building as the Telhio Credit Union) . Readings for this week are 2 Samuel 18:5-9, 15, 31-33. Ephesians 25-5:2, and John 6:35, 41-51 and can be found at www.lectionarypage.net.

New! Collar Corner

Have a question (big or small) about our worship, our faith, or The Episcopal Church? Check out the new Collar Corner bulletin board in the narthex (lobby) of the church. Write down your question(s) and drop them in the box; Fr. Phil will post an answer to one each week on the board!

New! Holy Hoppers this Sunday!

The Holy Hoppers is a group of St. Anne parishioners who gather once a month for an informal lunch and fellowship after church, rotating between various breweries in the neighborhood. We have a new place on tap (pun intended!) this Sunday, August 4 and it's Voodoo Brewing Co. on the Streets of West Chester, 9456 Water Front Dr, West Chester. OH 45069. Come on over and look for the big table(s) of chattering Episcopalians. All are welcome to join us! For questions, see Kirk Ealy or Patty Cargill.

New! Next Friday Fellowship August 9!

Friday Fellowship on August 9 will be hosted by Patty and Greg Cargill and Meg and Ethan Chamberlain, at their neighborhood clubhouse at 7936 S Bel Haven Lane, West Chester,

These casual get-togethers will be every other Friday this summer. Each host will provide the entree and request that guests provide an appetizer, a side dish, or a dessert to share. Please note: You can attend any or ALL of these events! No Limit to the fun!!
