The design, development and implementation of a successful High Risk Breast Program (HRBP) requires a dedicated collaborative team with expertise in breast imaging, risk assessment, cancer genetics and high risk medical management. Program models and structure can vary significantly depending on the site of care, resources available and overall goals of the program. Understanding the foundational infrastructure and critical resources needed help to guide the administrator in the planning and justification for a successful, sustainable program. This course will focus on HRBP models of care and key resources to develop an outstanding, comprehensive program with a focus on roles of administrators and clinicians for the identification, assessment and management of the high risk patient.
