Happy Labor Day weekend!

As we pause to recognize and celebrate the dedication, hard work, and contributions of workers across our country, I want to take a moment to shine a light on the incredible team right here at our school. Every day, our school team pour their hearts into creating a safe, inspiring, and joyful learning environment for our students.

Labor Day is also a wonderful reminder of the value of balance. I hope this long weekend brings your family time to relax, recharge, and enjoy some extra fun together. Whether you are heading out on a mini road trip, gathering for a backyard barbecue, or simply catching up on rest, enjoy every moment!

Thank you for your continued partnership and for making our school community such a vibrant place to learn and grow. We look forward to welcoming our students back refreshed and ready for another fantastic week!

Wishing you all a safe, happy, and restful holiday weekend,

Mrs. Stewart

Student use of cellular phones and other electronic communication devices will not be permitted during the school day from 8:30-3:15.

Personal communication devices, including cell phones, earbuds, headphones and watches, must be powered off and stored out of sight during the entire school day. Exceptions may be made to accommodate IEP/504 plans and for documented medical reasons.

Enhanced School Volunteer Procedures

In order to ensure the safety and security of our students, staff and volunteers, the following volunteer guidelines and expectations will need to be completed prior to volunteering in our schools:

  1. Volunteers must complete the volunteer form each school year in which they wish to volunteer.
  2. Volunteers must complete and acknowledge the volunteer training (training video included in the form).
  3. Volunteers working in our buildings under the supervision of school staff (library volunteer, classroom volunteer, field day volunteer, guest speaker/reader, PTO volunteers, etc.) must sign in using the district's visitor management system.
  4. Volunteers who will be supervising students other than their own child on offsite field trips or overnight trips will be required to complete a more extensive background check (there is a nominal fee for a background check). School staff will notify a volunteer if a background check is required and provide an online link to complete the background check.
