A Message from the Chamber...

Chamber Hosts First Community Connections Roundtable

On Wednesday, February 4, the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted Community Connections: A Conversation with Village Leaders and Chamber Members. This exclusive roundtable brought together our Silver, Gold, and Platinum Chamber members for meaningful dialogue with Village leadership, including Mayor Rebecca Giannelli and Village Administrator Doug Flint.

The evening began with a high-level update on current Village initiatives and priorities. Mayor Giannelli and Mr. Flint provided insight into ongoing projects, strategic goals, and efforts aimed at supporting local businesses and enhancing the Glendale Heights community.

Following the presentation, attendees engaged in a productive and collaborative discussion focused on strengthening the partnership between the business community and Village government. Topics included improving interactions with Village services, identifying opportunities for collaboration that benefit residents and businesses alike, and exploring ways to build even stronger working relationships moving forward.

The event concluded with an informal networking session, allowing members and Village representatives to continue conversations and foster new connections.

The Chamber extends its appreciation to Mayor Giannelli, Village Administrator Flint, and all members who participated in this inaugural Community Connections event. We look forward to hosting this roundtable twice annually, providing continued opportunities for engagement and collaboration.

Chamber Leads Pledge at Village Board Meeting

On Thursday, February 5, the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce was honored to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the Village Board Meeting. Following the pledge, Mayor Giannelli invited Chamber representatives to introduce themselves to the audience and elected officials, providing a meaningful opportunity to connect and share more about the Chamber’s role in the community.

The evening was especially memorable as the Board recognized the collective efforts of the Glendale Heights community in creating Valentine’s cards for Veterans. This heartfelt initiative showcased the compassion and generosity that define our community.

The Chamber extends its sincere thanks to Mayor Giannelli and the Village Board for the invitation to be part of such a special meeting.

Multi-Chamber Progressive Networking Breakfast

On Friday, February 13, members of the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce took part in the Multi-Chamber Progressive Networking Breakfast at Medinah Banquets. The event brought together chamber members and local business professionals for a morning of connection and collaboration.

Using a fast-paced, structured format, attendees rotated tables every 20 minutes—creating valuable opportunities to meet a wide variety of professionals in a short amount of time. The format encouraged conversations, fresh perspectives, and the exchange of ideas. Events like this highlight the power of regional collaboration and the strength of our local business network.

We extend our thanks to the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce for hosting this outstanding event. We are also grateful to all the participating chambers whose partnership and enthusiasm made the morning such a success.

Big Blue Swim School Hosts Chamber's Breakfast Club

On Wednesday, February 18, the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce hosted its quarterly Breakfast Club at Big Blue Swim School, located at 145 W. Army Trail Road in Glendale Heights. The morning brought together a mix of familiar faces and first-time attendees, including representatives from local businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and staff from the Village of Glendale Heights. A special welcome was extended to Mayor Rebecca Giannelli, who joined us for the gathering.

The event began with informal networking over coffee and an assortment of baked goods. During this time, guests had the opportunity to tour Big Blue Swim School and learn more about the facility and its programs. Following breakfast, attendees gathered for introductions, sharing information about their organizations and the services they provide to the community.

We extend our sincere thanks to Big Blue Swim School for graciously hosting this Breakfast Club. For many in attendance, it was their first visit to the facility, and several commented on the impressive size of the pool and the spacious, welcoming environment for both swimmers and spectators.
