With the school year coming to an end, we're proud to report that our 15 Independence Mission Schools remain steady despite these very challenging circumstances.

Our faculty and staff have risen to the occasion and have done an exceptional job of maintaining the delivery of curriculum and promoting students’ academic growth in literacy and mathematics from a distance, while strategically including art, music, religion, social studies, technology and physical education.

As a result, our students have shown strength and resilience in stepping up to the new remote learning environment with great spirit.
"Mrs. Leeper,

Thank you very much for being such a good teacher to my child. As a parent, I know perfect teachers are hard to find, but for me, you are the best teacher for my child. Thank you for the love and care you are giving to my child each day even during these difficult times."

We are looking forward to September when we welcome back students, faculty and staff to our buildings, but we need your help. In order for us to continue to serve the community, to realize our mission, and to remain a viable network of inner-city Catholic schools, the capacity to provide financial assistance to school families is our utmost priority.

On average, 90% of our families receive need-based financial assistance to support our tuition cost of $5,500. The increased economic hardship brought on by the pandemic will continue to have a negative impact on our families, and in some cases, this might mean a Catholic education is not within reach this upcoming year .

Join us in our commitment to serve our students, who do not take for granted the opportunity to attend our school, and need your support in order to do so this coming year.
In spite of the obstacles we face, our 15 schools are beacons of hope and opportunity – across our IMS network at least 79% of our 8 th grade graduating class will continue their education in Catholic high schools, elite private schools or select Charter schools.

It is our calling and our duty to make a quality Catholic education affordable and accessible to more families, especially during these difficult times.

We are now asking for your help by making an investment in our families so they can feel secure in knowing their temporary hardship won’t have a permanent impact on their child’s education.
Your Gift Will Help Change a Child's Life!
"Our words are not enough to express our gratitude to the St. Helena-Incarnation Team for their accomplishments and their close support during this uncertain period of Covid-19 and for making it possible for a successful end of the school year for everyone. We share with everyone our warm congratulations and hope to continue to work together in order to create a better world for the children in Jesus' Name."
