Update From Membership

The SI Objectives, Membership sub-committee, has been working hard and is off to a great start this year. We have installed two new members thus far and last week hosted a very successful “Bring a Friend to Lunch” event. Over a dozen guests were in attendance. During lunch, several of our officers spoke about club focus, projects and events. During happy dollars, a few members took the opportunity to highlight other great aspects of membership, including fun and friendships. It was a really positive and uplifting program. The efforts will continue as we promote membership and our golf tournament at the upcoming Hodges Festival and Farmers Markets in Chico. We look forward to more new faces joining our group.

Our luncheon program aims to highlight some of the emerging challenges that exist in the world of cybersecurity today and provide straightforward, actionable guidance that anyone can follow to create a safe and secure digital world for themselves and their loved ones.

Help Spread the Word About our Club!

We are doing a fall public awareness campaign to let our community know more about our work, hoping to recruit new potential members and give out information about our golf tournament fundraiser. Sign up for a shift in November or December of just 2 hours and tell people all about us!

We are working on a new version of our club roster. It looks terrific and will be very user friendly. Many of us have not updated our photos in some time. If you have a photo or headshot you would like us to use, please send it to Gail Nottingham

Each committee should create a raffle basket for the Golf Tournament. Here are some ideas: Pet basket, Spa Package, Foodie Fest, Gift Card Fun, Charcuterie Essentials, Night Out, Cocktail Mixing Set, Men's or Women's Golf, Family Night Out, BBQ, Gardening, Camping, Beach Day, Farmers Market, Beer Lover or come up with your own!

Baskets should include unique items and be put together in an appealing and fun way to be most sought after. Thanks!!
