Back From Ghana
Delegates from the US Section of WILPF to the WILPF International Congress in Ghana in August have had time to process their experience and will report on their observations and the decisions made at the International level, as well as how it will affect our section's representation and program plans for the next three years.
You won't want to miss hearing about their interactions with other women peacemakers (WILPF members) from around the world, the changes being enacted at the international level, and how our delegates feel about these changes and how we can shape these changes in the coming years.
We'll have a few
announcements and we'll also begin to discuss
Solidarity Events for 2019. Please come to the call with some ideas about directions we want to take this year.
We'll hear important updates from the
Development Committee regarding the kinds of information they need from branches, issue committees and board committees in order to pursue funding in 2019. Since donors fund all our work, this is important for us to think about throughout every level of WILPF.
