A Note from Headmaster Scott
Dear Archway Trivium Families,
The idea of community has been on my mind lately. Even during the rough and divisive COVID years, we were able to maintain unity and mutual respect for each other. Our community has nearly doubled in size this year, yet we have been able to serve each other well and connect in the same sincere fashion. I see this when a parent shares concerns about what is happening in their child’s class, not to revile the teacher, but to support her development as a teacher. I see it when a family arrives late to school and dutifully walks to the office, with smiles on faces, to sign the child in. I saw it vividly this week when, in two different concerts, a mother and a grandmother shared their musical talents with us all so our scholars could have accompaniment for a special piece. I saw it when chairs were set up and taken down—primarily by parent volunteers. This semester we saw the rebirth of our traditional fall festival in the form of an amazing Renaissance Faire. We engaged in grade-level activities, field trips, after-school clubs, reading groups, and countless other activities. We are big, but as long as we are committed to the a shared pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty, we will be united. Thank you!
Heartily Devoted,
Clay Scott
Headmaster

Thanks to the incredible outpouring of new donors that joined us as part of Giving Tuesday. Collectively, our Archway Trivium donor family has now helped us moved to 93% of our fundraising goal for the year! We are almost there!!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Giuseppe Torres (Mikayla Torres ’33 accepting on their behalf). They were drawn as our random Giving Tuesday Grand Prize winner, and they chose a $100 Amazon gift card for their prize. Don’t forget that we still have an incredible year-long reward for one donor to receive a pair of VR goggles, sponsored by Trivium family business Altered Combat (www.alteredcombat.com).
As we move into the end of the tax year, consider a tax-deductible charitable gift for 2022 to claim on your return. Your giving goes to the HEART of helping to support every operating expense at the school and bridge the funding gap we have as a charter school. We appreciate you! If you have any questions, please reach out to Annann Hong at ahong@archwaytrivium.org or (773) 307-6779.

|
In our weekly random drawing, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Regan (Hannah Regan ’34 accepting on their behalf) were drawn to win a $25 Amazon gift card as a thank you for their participation. Set up your 2022 Tax Credit before 12/15 for a chance at next week’s give-away! Ask family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. with an AZ state tax liability to do the same, and double each of your entries while also helping us move closer to our Tax Credit goal!! Tax Credits are essential for supporting our Field Trips so the fees to our families are kept as low as possible. They also help support our after-school clubs!

Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off/Pick-up
With the expansion of Archway and addition of the new building, there are significant changes to the traffic flow for the upcoming school year. Please carefully review the new Archway Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off and Pick-up and reach out with any questions. Taking the time to understand these procedures will help to ensure the safety of our students/staff and a smooth traffic flow.
Carpooling Update: Our east side pick-up lane has had a faster track and will now be our designated carpool lane.
If you have 2 or more Archway ONLY pick-up cards, you will be guided into this fast-track lane for a faster pick-up. Please be sure to have your pick-up cards ready to show our traffic controllers that you are carpooling so they can guide you to the appropriate lane. To maintain the flow of pick-up, others may be directed to the fast-track lane, but carpools will be given priority. Please do not enter the carpool lanes until you are directed to do so.
As a reminder, if you are picking up Middle School students DO NOT ARRIVE to campus before 3:15 PM. This creates significant delays. If you arrive before 3:15, we will ask you to go back into our pick-up lanes and try again.
Please follow the link below to review the DETAILED Archway Traffic Flow Plan and be sure to share this link with anyone authorized to drop-off/pick-up your children.
