Happening at the Gem. . . . May 2025

Hello members!

Lots of exciting events coming up at the Gem this month, including a primer on debit cards (good info for all of us and especially timely if you have new graduates / fledgling adults in your life), a delightful Welcome Spring dinner with the acclaimed Sibby Barrett, and a trail cleanup day. The Gem will also have a table at the Blanco State Park event "Back To The Blanco" on May 10th. Details on these events and more are on the Gem calendar and below.

The Blanco Chamber of Commerce and artists and artisans who made the new signs a reality celebrated our new look with a ribbon cutting on May 1. We are so grateful for the amazing community here, and thank everyone who made the sign project a success!

Community Trail Spring Cleaning

Join us on May 24th from 8 am to 4 pm for a trail clean-up.

New VP Wayne Munger has been working on a long term initiative for trail maintenance and he'll meet us at the trailhead for this spring kickoff. Bring your favorite tools for clearing invasive plants and dress accordingly. We'll provide lunch and will have plenty of water to keep you hydrated.
