When verbal strategies aren’t enough, body-based interventions open new pathways for students with LD to manage emotions and maintain focus. In this experiential workshop, you'll learn 4 to 5 cutting-edge, evidence-based techniques—including heart rate variability biofeedback, progressive muscle relaxation, and postural exercises—that work for any age, discovering how working with the body's stress response, rather than against it, creates lasting change. You’ll receive age-adaptable scripts for use at home or in the classroom to support kids in managing big emotions and focus challenges.
