Congratulations New CMPs

I have crossed paths during their preparation through a mixture of my 16-hour virtual classes, my two-day in-person classes, the MPI Global Master Class, my videos, and some random conversations. I am very proud and happy for you, and it means a lot to have been part of your journey.
Things That Interest Me...and Maybe You

Behind the Scenes of Inflight Meals
As food is making a comeback on flights, a look behind the process is always interesting. Personally I found (pre pandemic) that a lot of the food had improved even when you are not in first class.
The Points Guy

The Starbucks line is longer than the TSA line at some airports. There's a new way to cut it.
Exciting news to skip the long lines

Perfect conversation for Earth Day this week!

Meeting Volume Up?
My statistics professor once said that the wonderful thing about statistics, is you could use the numbers so many different ways to prove whatever you wanted, and not be wrong.

Not Going Back to Normal
We cannot go back through that door… so what do we do?

Fear of Live Meetings
This is one of the most valuable and important articles I have read in the past few months. Meeting planners and attendees cannot go from where we were in the past few years, to warp speed. So many things to think about.

Supply Chain
To think I had never known what supply chain meant until 2 years ago. It shows how much I/we take for granted.

Join Joanne Dennison’s CMP Community!

As you may or may not know, we have recently launched Joanne Dennison’s CMP Community through a platform called Mighty Networks. This online community is open to anyone who has worked with me on their CMP, either through my personal class or a class I taught through an organization.

The goal is to offer you a space to network with fellow planners and suppliers, find study buddies or cheerleaders on your journey to CMP, and keep track of me and my company news.

What makes this community platform different is that, in addition to connecting people of similar interests and experiences, it also serves as a place to learn about industry news, discover events and job opportunities, gain knowledge from experienced professionals, and so much more!

Here are a few things you can do as a member:
  • Post information, questions, and polls to the community feed
  • Customize your activity feed to see specific items of interest.
  • Join a group based on your geographical area and discover nearby events, share local news, or connect with others in your area.
  • Take part in virtual sessions and events that are exclusive to the community.
  • Download the app on your iOS or Android phone and access the community wherever you go!
  • What to join? If you did not receive an email invitation last month, you can request to join the CMP community through this link: https://www.joannescmpcommunity.com.

If you have any questions, feel to reach out to kelly@joannedennison.com. We hope to see you there soon!
