Commitment to Privacy and Lowering Barriers to Access Food


Happy New Year! With all the changes from Helene, policy changes, and other updates a new year brings, we wanted to reiterate our commitment to privacy, and focusing on lowering barriers to access food.


In 2025 we are working on establishing:

  • More options for anonymous reporting
  • Adjusting speed of intake
  • Device Support or Replacement for Helene damaged devices
  • Ensuring that neighbor data is handled respectfully and privately

Monthly Focus - TEFAP 2025

For those of you that offer TEFAP we have received guidance from NCDA on the new updates for TEFAP 2025.

  • Full Address has been changed to County/State only


Due to this you'll start seeing an updated TEFAP form for your events distributing TEFAP.


With this change, you no longer need to add full address and will just be required to confirm County and State. However, in order to get the address to pre-populate, you can still enter the street address to have the form auto-fill.

For those not on TEFAP, we have a request into Feeding America to update address requirements for standard Food Pantry distributions. We will keep you updated as we learn more.

Feeding America Feature Updates & Fixes


Enhancements:

  • The Household Roster All Data (Identified/ De-Identified) report is now available from Data Export.
  • This report provides users an unduplicated household roster with the same columns as the All Data report


Bug Fixes:

  • When exporting records for a single day, the Data Export would return 0 results. This issue has been resolved.
  • On the All Data export, sometimes Neighbor ID incorrectly duplicated for members of the same household. This issue has been resolved. Each neighbor should now appear with their own unique Neighbor ID.
