Young Leaders Logo Contest

Overview

The Young Leaders Committee is launching a logo design contest to create a fresh, vibrant visual identity that represents the energy, creativity, and ambition of our members. This is a unique opportunity for participants to showcase their design skills and have their work featured as the committee's official logo.

Contest Theme

We are looking for a logo that represents the next generation of leaders in construction:

• Empowerment – Bold, confident young professionals driving progress in the construction industry.
• Innovation – Showcasing creativity, problem-solving, and forward-thinking ideas on the job site.
• Collaboration – Highlighting teamwork, mentorship, and building a strong, inclusive construction community.

Who Can Enter?

The contest is open to:

• Young professionals in construction with a creative flair
• Graphic designers and visual artists
• Students in design, engineering, or construction-related programs
• Anyone passionate about shaping the future of young leaders in the construction industry

Submission Guidelines

• Deadline: Friday May 15th, 2026
• Format: High-resolution PNG or JPG
• Colour Scheme: Should use the NCA's current Logo colour theme (below), and also should work in black & white
• Originality: All designs must be original and not use copyrighted materials
• Note: Designs should include “NCA Young Leaders” in the logo

Prizes

• Grand Prize: [$100 Gift Card of Your Choice] + Official recognition + Featured on all branding materials + Website/Newsletter mention and social media shout-outs

How to Submit

1. Create your logo based on the contest theme
2. Submit via email to office@niagaraconstruction.org subject line: "Young Leaders Logo Submission"
3. Include a short description of your design concept

Judging Criteria

• Creativity & Originality – Unique ideas that stand out
• Relevance to Theme – Reflects the spirit of the NCA Young Leaders Committee in construction
• Versatility & Scalability – Works across different sizes and formats
• Overall Impact – Memorable and visually engaging
• Young Leaders Committee Choice – The Committee members will cast their vote for their favourite design and announce the winner in June!
