Announcing the 2025 IDSA Design Foundation Scholarship Recipients

The IDSA Design Foundation awards two scholarships each year, funded by generous community and corporate support. To date, more than $130,000 in tuition assistance has been distributed to talented design students early in their careers.

Jennifer Lee

The 2025 Gianninoto Graduate Scholarship recipient is Jennifer Lee, an incoming Master of Industrial Design candidate at the Rhode Island School of Design.

Tejas Mitra

The 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship recipient is Tejas Mitra, a Product Design student at ArtCenter College of Design.

In our last episode, we found that the biggest challenge in moving from designer to designpreneur is not design, but what comes next, especially offshore sourcing and production. To explore this key stage of manufacturing, we invited a specialist who works in it every day. IDSA is pleased to introduce David Chitayat, Group CEO of Genimex, a supply chain services firm and longtime supporter of the design community, including last year’s IDSA “Layer Logic: Motor City” competition.
