In today’s complicated world of business, it’s important to simplify. And that is what we’ve done with our firm name. While the legacy of our founding partners will always be a significant part of the fabric of our firm, and we will always be grateful to the leaders who came before us, we owe it to our valued clients and team members to simplify our name. Landau Arnold Laufer was a bit of a tongue twister and so we decided to be more concise while also encompassing who we are as a firm.
Since our founding in 1945, we’ve changed our name several times to reflect changes in leadership. After all, depending on state rules, most accounting firms are required to be named after current or former partners, or a combination of their initials. But this time, we are changing our name to better reflect what we’ve become over the past 75 years – business advisors with one, simple goal: to help our clients with everything they need to be successful in their personal and business lives.
Over the years, under the vision of Andrew Laufer, Managing Partner of Laufer LLP, we’ve expanded our services to include everything our clients need to be successful. What started as an exceptional tax and accounting practice is now a firm that is steeped in strategic business planning, sound advice and proactive communication so our clients are poised for success in the marketplace. It is why our menu of services now includes payroll, tax credits and wealth management services; and it is the reason we utilize cutting edge technology. We have grown into a full-service accounting firm to make life simple for our clients. No one knows our clients better than we do and our robust service offerings enable them to engage one firm for the myriad of services they need to be successful.
You will notice that we have retained our mantra of “make the leap”. This is our brand promise that is exemplified in the orange and blue graphic. Clients come to us when they are ready to leap to a CPA firm that understands their business, when they need a higher level of service, when they desire an elevated relationship with their accountant and when they need to make the leap to a brighter future. Ultimately, it is when they want to take their organization from good to great and need the team at Laufer LLP to help them do just that.
