What We're Listening to...Iri
“Rhythm” starts out like a buddah lounge melody, something you would hear walking the streets of Miami before the place gets poppin’. Then the loungy music stops and she sings a capella. The simple, sexy drums drop and her voice flows over the rhythm like a wave of water. They go together like peanut butter and jelly. More>>

“The Importance of Being Earnest” REVIEW | October 22-31
“The Importance of Being Earnest” is a classic of the British stage. Revered. Beloved. An enduring moment in time much performed and frequently dismissed as fluff.  It’s a real favourite of mine. I love the frippery, the timelessness, the achingly beautiful words and biting Victorian satire. Oscar Wilde could turn a phrase, that’s for sure, and this play is one of his finest. Although, sadly, it was his last.  More>>
“Postpardon Me” REVIEW
Liesel Hlista is a natural storyteller and a gifted performer. Her hilarious and extremely touching story of pregnancy, birth and the aftermath is beautifully balanced, poignant and highly entertaining. Complete with reworked classic musical numbers and graphic, brilliant, gorgeously choreographed physical reenactments.  Bold enough to make her family in the audience blush a little, even as they beamed with pride…I was seated next to them. "All This Intimacy” REVIEW | October 21-30
“All This Intimacy” is funny, very funny. The women are strong, the men are happily not, and the plot is ridiculous, but in a very good way.  This is the perfect play to help ease us back to in-person performance. The performances are brilliant.  A mix of current Theatre of Arts students and returning alumni grace the stage and lend credence to the story with style, edge and brilliant comic timing. More>>
