G reetings from Avoca, New York, where we are looking forward to the culmination of our October auctions on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:01 PM Eastern Time each day. We will have 501 Lots ending on October 6th and another 401 Lots ending on October 7th. Follow the links below to view the items in the auction.

Today's Photo Montage begins shows some of the many great tools that will be sold on October 7th. The next photo shows us outside putting finish on the components of the new wooden shelves we are in the process of adding to the warehouse. The photo brought back the kind of memories that the philosopher, Yogi Berra, once referred to as "deja vu all over again". The next photo shows all of the storage shelves from the back of the warehouse outside on the driveway thirteen years ago, in 2013, getting a few fresh coats of polyurethane finish. We started at 6 am and had everything done and back inside by the time everyone was ready to go home

If you are not currently registered to bid in our auctions, you can register to bid by clicking HERE.

We have the First Tuesday and First Wednesday Auctions for October fully loaded and bidding is now underway. You can view the auction and enter bids beginning now and continuing until October 6, 2026 & October 7, 2026. On the last day of the sale, two lots will close and be marked as sold each minute beginning at 7:01 P.M. on each ending day and continuing until all are sold. Bidding will be open on both auctions until bidding closes as the lots begin selling at 7:01 PM on each night of the sale. You can keep bidding until the item is marked as sold. In the event that there is an increase in the bid in the last two minutes before an items sells, it will be extended for two minutes, unless the high bid amount increases again, at which point it will extend for another two minutes.

Hamler, Paul : Miniature Model Of Mayo's Pat. Plane. Rosewood & Bronze. Highly Detailed. Length: 4.50 Inches. A highly detailed MINIATURE MODEL OF THE MAYO PATENTED PLOW PLANE by noted master miniaturist Paul Hamler. This plane has been finely crafted from rosewood and bronze and is highly detailed down to the individual letters of the Mayo name on the four fixing screws. It is in brand new condition. The first example of this Hamler model that we have offered for sale. (FINE). This item was sold on September 18, 2010 for $1,025.00. jpg_file

jpg_file Lot 398. A rare CAST BRONZE SALESMAN'S DISPLAY MODEL OF A HAY FORK by A.J. Nellis & Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This small size working model of a hay fork is identical in all respects except in size to the May 20, 1884 U.S. Patent of Aaron J. Nellis of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This working model was almost certainly provided to vendors who were selling the Nellis Patent hay fork to allow them to demonstrate the functionality of the device without having to bring out a full size version. This example, which is not marked in any way, is in perfect, untouched original condition. As good as they get. Highly Recommended. (FINE).(800.00 - 1,600.00) Length: 12 Inches.
