Men's Conference,

Friday, August 20th, 5:30-10:00pm

Gather with us at FBCVA as we join thousands of men across North America for #RightNowMensConference. Connect with other local men and be challenged to grow in your relationship with God in all areas of life. This is a simulcast conference that we will host here in our FLC.

TIME: 5:30pm Dinner | CONFERENCE: 6:30-10:00pm | COST: $20, meal provided.

Women - Wednesday at 10am led by Debbie Deets

Women - Wednesday at 6pm led by Lexie Williamson

Childcare is only available for Wednesday evening sessions.

Volunteers Needed for our Coffee Service Ministry Team

We are looking for persons to join our rotating coffee service, ministry team. You will help brew and distribute coffee to our groups throughout our campus before our Discipleship Hour. Volunteers will also help clean and stock our coffee stations after our group sessions. If you are interested in joining the team, contact Griff at griff@fbcva.com

CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST

The Women on Mission current project is "Christmas in August" for our missionaries, the Essary family. We have a Christmas tree filled with ornaments set up in the Family Life Center. On each ornament, you will find a prayer request from the Essary family and a gift card idea. Please bring the gift cards to the church by the end of the month. We will have a basket for the cards set up by the tree.

Summer Celebration Ice Cream Fellowship

August 29th, 6:00pm

Make plans to join us for our Summer Celebration, to give thanks for all that the Lord did in and through our church this past summer.

GRIEFSHARE STARTING SOON

September 12, 3:00-5:00pm

GriefShare is a biblically-based program designed to minister to the long-lasting, persistent needs of those people who have lost a loved one through death. GriefShare is a seminar/small group program. GriefShare ministry meets Sunday afternoons in the FBCVA portables. Each weekly session is designed to be self-contained, so if you have to miss a weekly session during the 13 week period, it is all right. The 13 week video-based program features respected Christian experts sharing their insight and wisdom on topics important to people in grief.
