State of the City 2025 Brochure Now Available

The City of Cleburne has released its annual State of the City brochure, a comprehensive report showcasing the City's remarkable accomplishments in 2024 and outlining goals and projects for the year ahead.


In 2024, Cleburne achieved significant milestones in various sectors, from Public Works’ infrastructure enhancements to Park and Recreation’s continued efforts to improve the quality of parks and amenities.

Attend the Free Bash at the Rec Center


Who doesn’t like a fun bash? We’re celebrating the Booker T. Washington Recreation Center's anniversary on Saturday, March 1 from 1 to 5 p.m. There will be raffles, carnival games, a food truck and more. Admission is free.

Land the Hottest Summer Job at Splash Station

It’s still not too late to secure a cool (and hot) summer job at Cleburne’s Splash Station. Individuals ages 16 and older can apply to be a summer lifeguard or customer attendant.

Medicare Made Simple at the Library


Also on Saturday, you can come out to the Cleburne Public Library for a free Medicare informational session designed to help you navigate the complexities of federal health insurance for those 65 and older.


If you or a loved one have questions about coverage and options, go to the library on Feb. 22 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and make informed healthcare decisions.

Unlock the World of 3D Printing

Curious about 3D printing? Join us at the Cleburne Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. for an exciting session where you’ll learn how the library’s 3D printer works and how to create your own prints.

Explore History with a Guided Museum Tour


Discover the stories of Cleburne with a free guided tour at the Layland Museum of History or the Cleburne Railroad Museum. If you’re hosting an event, this is a great way to bring history to you.


Contact the museum at 817-645-0940 or museum@cleburne.net to arrange a museum presentation for your group. Groups of eight or more are asked to schedule at least two weeks in advance to ensure the best experience.
