On this "Giving Tuesday" I am asking my friends, family, colleagues, and clients to consider supporting the Barrio La Planta Foundation.
This organization teaches English language skills to local children in the village of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, to help them and their families get access to the tourist economy in their region. My daughter, Meredith, has been working to help this struggling organization and spent five months in Nicaragua working onsite with the children.
We all know there a people struggling everywhere. This organization doesn't just help these children, who receive a substandard education from their government, to be part of the changing technological world. The children also help their parents, many of which run small businesses, to benefit from the tourist industry that is a large source of revenue in their area through the language and computer skills they learn in the program.
Please consider a small donation this "Giving Tuesday". Thank you, God bless, and happy holidays to all. https://gofund.me/18a41bef
