Dear Central Escarpment Council Group Commissioners,
On Friday April 1st, 2021 the Government of Ontario announced that, effective Saturday April 3rd, the entire Province will enter an “Emergency Brake” Shutdown.

Unfortunately this means that all groups in all health regions in the Council will be in Pandemic Scouting Stage 1 – Virtual only.
“Emergency Brake” – Shutdown
Please contact your Group Support Scouter or Scouting Relationship Manager if your Group would like assistance with virtual Scouting. Resources can be found on Scouts.ca, in the Welcome Back to Scouting Resources.
Some good news:

Program Update: Spring into Adventure launches on April 5th!
The Scouter's Guide to the

is coming early next week!

(This can be done virtually)
As a CK3, we will continue to look for any updates from the Ontario government in the coming weeks. We will let you know of any changes as soon as we have them.
We recognize that this is an extremely difficult time for you, your youth, Scouters and families. Our team is here to support you. We thank you so much for your continued resiliency and look forward to brighter days ahead.
YIS,

Dean, Alyssa and Justin
