A big ‘Thank You’ to all who turned in Giving Cards on Sunday and prior.  We currently have 51 commitments turned in with a giving estimate of $217,924. If you wish to give and have not yet turned in your card, please do so soon so we can plan for our 2027 budget.  Giving of your time, talent and especially your treasure, ensures that we continue the work and mission of ECA.  “it’s what we do!”.

Vestry Investor Spotlight This Week: Mike Wrinkle!

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Mike Wrinkle. Mike has always been one of the first to volunteer and has been a dedicated member of the ECA Men’s Group. He has taken the lead on the men’s fishing trips to Florida, and we’ve all enjoyed his famous Wrinkle Fries! When ECA hosts its Fall Yard Sale or Fish Fry, Mike is right there, cooking barbecue brisket or preparing fish from our Florida trips. Mike was also instrumental helping with building our current pavilion and providing great deals. Thank you, Mike, for all you’ve done and for being such an important part of our ECA family. We’re grateful for your dedication and your investment in ECA! 

Youth Service Project Friday, November 6th

The ECA Youth will have a Service Project shopping for a local food pantry followed by dinner (more details to follow).  See Lily Lippert to learn more. 

Reach Meeting This Sunday at Noon in the Activities Building: All are Welcome!

Come see what in-reach and out-reach ministry is all about at ECA.  Typically meeting on the Second Sunday of each month after the 10:30am Service.

Children/Youth Christian Formation November Theme is JOY

Our November fruit of the spirit is Joy. Happiness and joy are similar but biblical joy is a deeper God-given gladness that doesn't dissolve when circumstances get hard. His is in control and we can experience true joy through Him. We are learning to align our priorities with God's heart:

    J= Jesus first

    O= Others second

    Y= Yourself last 

Begin each day by choosing joy! The Children/Youth CF meets on the first and third Sunday of each month. Bring a friend! Adult CF also meets every Sunday at 9:30. All are welcome!

ECW 'Food for Thought' Lunch & Fellowship Thursday, November 12 at Noon All Ladies are invited to come to lunch and fellowship on Thursday, November 12 at Noon. We will meet at the Family Traditions located at 4379 Towne Lake Parkway #140. Dinner will be Thursday, November 19th at 4pm at Henry's in Acworth. See Janice Maxwell with any questions or to RSVP. Join us in celebrating our 40th year as ECA!  Activities and Events are scheduled throughout the year.  In addition to the wonderful activities we have already celebrated, mark your calendar for an Investors Dinner on January 30, an ECA cookbook, and 40th Celebration service on April 24 with all-day events to follow.
