Jaunt is the region’s award-winning public transit system, connecting the residents of Albemarle, Buckingham, Charlottesville, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson to all of Central Virginia. Delivering convenient and reliable service with demand-response and commuter routes, all through the use of current technology and a customer-focused approach. Jaunt is a public service corporation owned the local governments we serve and operating with financial assistance from community partnerships, federal and state transit grants, and local government funding support. Jaunt is known for the convenience and reliable service, and customer-first attitude. Utilizing the latest technology, offering curb-to-curb demand-response service, commuter fixed-route service, and ADA paratransit service. With flexible service and affordable fares (in fact, right now Jaunt is fare-free!) Jaunt can take you to work, medical appointments, shopping trips, school, and just about every stop in-between. Jaunt typically travels over two million miles per year! |

JABA offers information and a wide range of services that help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain active in the community.
Community Senior Centers - JABA’s Community Senior Centers offer a wide range of activities, healthful lunches, and meaningful connections with peers and other community members. Nourishing the body, mind, and spirit through exercise, music, crafts, movies, games, field trips and so much more. Centers are located in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson counties. If you have an adult age 60+ or with a disability, and can manage medications and personal care, those people are eligible to become a member of one of JABA’s Community Senior Centers. Individuals who use assistive devices are most welcome. Membership is free, with a small suggested donation for lunch. Center members have access to all JABA services, if desired, including health screenings, information on health issues, and assistance in managing chronic diseases.
At Home with JABA - There's plenty to do via At Home with JABA - bingo, games, informative presentations by our JABA nurses, exercise sessions, and more.
Programs can be accessed via telephone or internet and are designed to include education and activities catered to a wide range of backgrounds, identities, religions and cultural practices. At Home with JABA participants, including Community Senior Center members, home-delivered meals clients and other older adults in the community, are connected to programs and receive referrals to other JABA services and community resources.

All Blessings Flow is a nonprofit organization that provides medical equipment and supplies to adults and children in need throughout Charlottesville, Virginia and surrounding counties. All Blessings Flow's clients are primarily low-income families representing many underserved groups in surrounding communities, including seniors, and rural residents. All are living with some form of disability or serious health condition, and all are in need of love and charity. All Blessings Flow's program is based on a simple idea: we live in a prosperous area with excellent healthcare facilities and a wealth of used medical equipment that many people no longer need or want. By redistributing this equipment to those in need, something that once blessed you or your loved one can now become a blessing for someone else. One blessing becomes another at All Blessings Flow.

Touching Hearts at Home is looking for compassionate, experienced, caring Home Care Aides to provide one on one in-home assistance to clients. Currently searching for FULL and PART time, offering flexible schedules and clients close to home. Touching Hearts offers educational opportunities, spending 90 days with the agency all employees are offered the opportunity to receive their PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certificate.
