Chagrin Falls Schools' Update on Our Journey of Excellence
Dear School Community,
In the opening days of January 2024, Chagrin Falls Schools embarked on an exciting new chapter, epitomizing our theme CF Together. Our two newly elected Board of Education members, Laura Viola Hui and Dr. Danielle Sabo took office at our organizational meeting in January. Lori Bendall was appointed Board President and Lauren Miller Vice President, both are invaluable leaders and contributors to our shared vision of inspiring all to grow and thrive.
Amidst this season of transformation and growth, Chagrin Falls Schools received an honor that would champion our course for the future. We were invited to join the Schlechty Center and become part of the Standard-Bearer School District Network (SBSDN), a prestigious national network of districts committed to designing exceptional and engaging learning experiences for their students.
Our journey into the SBSDN is a testament to our unwavering commitment to uphold the highest educational standards. As we delved into strategic planning, it became clear that our entire educational community wanted to provide our Chagrin students with a tailored education, one that would nurture their unique needs and aspirations. Joining forces with this esteemed national network of elite educational partners offers us a golden opportunity.
Through our membership, we can share and learn best practices in crafting high-quality learning experiences, fostering student engagement, and nurturing leadership qualities among our students. It's a chance to collaborate, innovate, and elevate the education we provide each one of our Chagrin students, making it even more remarkable and forward-thinking.
As we move into February, our CF Together theme for the month will shift to "Together We Give." The events at each of our buildings will revolve around random acts of kindness, recognition, and support, embracing each subset of our school community. This month is a reminder that together, we can make a difference, not only in our students' lives but in the broader community as well.
The journey ahead promises to be exciting and filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration. Together, we will continue striving for excellence, and together, we will make a difference.
Best,
Jennifer Penczarski, Ed.D.
