Medications

Parents-

As a reminder, medications (prescription and nonprescription) brought to the school must be taken to the school clinic for dispensing. Students may not be in possession of any prescription or nonprescription drug on school grounds during school hours. If you would like your student to have access to medication, you can bring the medication in its original packaging or current prescription bottle to the clinic with a signed medication administration form that can be found on the CISD website under the tab, “Medication at school”. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at madison.smith@southlakecarroll.edu or clinic phone (817-949-5402.

Thank you!!

E-Motorcycles

Parents –

Be advised that the use of e-motorcycles is prohibited in the City of Southlake. Minors caught riding the e-motorcycles will be issued citations. If your son or daughter wants to ride theirs in Town Square be advised this area is being patrolled specifically for them and consequences are being handed out.

Car Riders

Please refrain from blocking the entrance to the Southlake Glen neighborhood that is to the west of the campus when picking up or dropping off your Dragon.

Candy

Do you have candy you want to get rid of? Please consider donating it to Officer Roberson. She passes the candy out between classes randomly and uses it in classroom settings when she teaches.

Lost & Found

Items are piling up in the lost & found area already. Please remind your child to check for missing belongings.

Helping fund our teachers is the most tangible way we as a community can support not only our amazing teachers but all Dragon students as well.

If every family in CISD became a friend of CEF, they could gift ALL teachers a $2,500 end-of-year gift, as well as support Teacher Scholarships and financial awards for our Teachers of the Year! Imagine the impact your $1 a day could make!

If you would like to donate, simply go to www.carrolleducationfoundation.org and click the DONATE NOW! button. You can also text the word TELETHON to 44321 and follow the link. Together, let’s show our teachers how much we appreciate them!
