OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH:

It’s that time of the year again, Greensboro Swarm time!

YMCA has partnered once again with the Greensboro Swarm to bring an exclusive opportunity to Y youth participants ages 11 and up to be a ball kid for the Swarm throughout their season.

Ball kids have a tremendous responsibility to rebound balls and hustle to make sure the floor is slip-free so that the athletes don’t injure themselves. Plus, you can see the game up close.

To become a ball kid, the Swarm will be holding a Y Ball Kids Training on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 2-4 p.m. at the Novant Fieldhouse. At the training, the team will go through rules, practice what your child will do and answer any questions that you have. You must attend the Ball Kids Training to participate regardless on if you have been a ball kid in the past.
