Hello Senior Parents,

So much happening so fast for our senior families! This is a fairly full newsletter, stuffed with loads of important dates coming up. All leading to making wonderful memories for our seniors.

We have Senior Gear Collection this week and next, Senior Ball a week from Saturday and class fundraiser the next day, followed quickly by the Senior Slide Show submissions deadline, Grad Yard Signs, Time of Reflection sign-ups, Memory Boards pick up & drop off, Senior Parent Bash, as well as the Junior Class Auction (some Grad items in there!), and Graduation Lei. We are getting there!

Post-Ball Class Fundraiser!

Our class officers have organized a fun post-ball fundraiser at Miramonte family owned Dave's Hot Chicken in Pleasant Hill. Pop on by and enjoy some delicious chicken, reminisce about your fantastic evening, and raise some funds for Spring Senior Week, Grad Week, and Grad Night!

Senior Slide Show

We need your photos and videos of your senior for our Senior Slideshow. The show is a very fun part of Senior Week! We're going for inclusiveness and range and would love for everyone to be featured.

The Class of 2025 Slideshow will be shown during Senior Day and Grad Night, and a link will be sent to families to view as well.

Please submit 3 photos or short videos (no longer than 15 seconds) of your senior. Don't forget about throwback pics, adorable kid pics, sports and performances killer shots! Group shots are awesome!
Please LABEL your files with your senior's name, e.g. MariaSmith_1

Jr. Class Online Auction

The Miramonte Junior Class Online Auction is live March 7th-24th, 2025! Bid on amazing items and experiences, with all proceeds benefiting the Class of 2026. The auction is open to anyone, including our Miramonte community, so please share and BID! There are some incredible experiences and items that are sure to be a hit with your family!

Final Senior Parent Bash!

Thursday, April 10, 6-8pm

Join your fellow Senior Parents for our final bash together at Miramonte! No tickets needed, just show up and enjoy. We are forever thankful for all the support and guidance our families have provided our senior class. We want celebrate you!

Is your Senior a speaker, performer, musician, or visual artist? If so, we’d love to celebrate their talents at the Class of 2025’s Time of Reflection event on Sunday May 18th. This non-denominational reflective celebration is for ALL seniors and their immediate families. As in years past, this year’s event will feature inspirational performances by our soon-to-be graduates plus a faculty keynote speaker.

And NEW THIS YEAR, graduating visual artists will be showcased as well with an Art Show during the post ceremony reception.

Seniors wishing to participate as a performer, speaker, or artist must submit their Screening Request Form by Friday, April 18. Screenings for performers will be held after school April 22, 23, 29 and 30. All final artwork will be photographed for display and submitted by Wednesday April 30th. There will be a mandatory rehearsal for all performers on Thursday May 15th.

Memory Boards

Memory Boards are made by senior parents/guardians and then displayed on the walk up to the graduation ceremony. Wonderful tribute to our seniors!

If you have not picked up your board yet, we have a limited supply for pick-up from Orinda Optometry Group, 20 Orinda Way during business hours M-F, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Once the supply runs out, families can order from Amazon.

Here are the instructions and some examples for inspiration!

Drop off of completed boards will begin April 7th. More info to come!

Graduation Lei
