Important Updates

Rocks in the nuisance strips: We reached out to the City of Hutto to confirm right of way options. Many residents have asked if they can permanently concrete over these areas. Unfortunately, the answer is no. The City of Hutto's Code Enforcement department has confirmed that these areas cannot have a permanent hardscape as it would be detrimental to crews accessing utilities.

*IF you have already done this, make plans to have it removed ASAP. There are no ARC applications on file with an approval. Please remember, all exterior modifications need to go through the ARC process. The city does have an active code enforcement department. Also contact the office to let management know the timeframe you need to remove it so notices will not be sent by the Association. We cannot control when the city does their inspections, so keep that in mind, as well.

Quick FYIs

  • Some Alleyways are One-Way. Please do not drive down the alleys going the wrong way. This is a recipe for disaster.
  • Al Clawson Recycling: In regards to the alleyways right of way, it was reported the recycling trucks are going the wrong way. Management contacted Al Clawson to discuss solutions. The trucks are automated and the arm is only on one side. We are working together to find a solution to the issue. Please be careful going down alleyways on Mondays/Tuesdays when they are in the neighborhood.
  • These emails are intended for only residents (tenants, homeowners, landlords/property managers). Please use the "Update Profile" link at the bottom of this email to update your profile with an address. The list is scrubbed once a quarter. This applies mostly to tenants, property management companies, and residents not on the deed of records.
  • The office will be closed November 28th, and 29th.
  • Amenity Use: The pavilions and soccer field are first come, first serve. You must remove all trash, confetti, balloons, etc. from the area when you use them. Keep in mind, we have a lot of dogs taking their moms and dads on walks. Animals ingesting these items can be deadly.
  • Dogwalkers: It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet. We do not have a dog waste pickup vendor in place. These are a costly service. There are 10 dog waste stations available for use. They are replenished and cleaned on Mondays by our landscaper. Please do not contribute to the pollution of our waterway right next to the trail.
  • Alleyway Trashcans: Reminder, they can be on the driveway near the garage. They may not be in the alleyways on non-trash days.
  • Speeding on Emory Crossing Blvd: Please reduce your speed to 30 mph, especially in the mornings and afternoons when our school children are walking to the bus stops. Close Patrol is active through the Hutto Police Department.

Architectural Applications

All exterior modifications to your home require review and approval via submission of an architectural application. There are a handful of preapproved projects. Please refer to the Preapproved Modifications document before submitting your application. Refunds are not an option, unfortunately.

Reminders:

Security cameras require ACC approval. They will also require your neighbors to sign an acknowledgement. This is due to privacy concerns. Cameras should only capture images/video within your unit property lines.

We appreciate everyone's efforts on their landscaping. The overall look of the neighborhood is improving with your help! Don't forget, there is a Landscaping Tips & Tricks on the website if you need ideas.

Trash days are Mondays/Tuesdays. Cans must be stored out of view Wednesday - Sunday. Alleyways can store cans on driveway near garage.

Basketball goals: Permanent goals are not permitted. Portable goals may be in view while in active use. They must be stored per the documents all other times.

Compliance drives are every other week, typically on Wednesday.

Trail Walks and Amenity reviews are every week, typically on Tuesday. If you would like to join me, please send me a message. The walks begin around 8:15 am and end around 9 am.
