The Winter Carnival Window Dressing Contest invites businesses to design festive, eye-catching window displays that capture the season's magic. It's a fantastic opportunity to engage your team, bring joy to the community, and attract visitors to your storefront. Let your windows tell a story, celebrate winter, and showcase your business. 2024 RECAP: ADVOCATING FOR REVELSTOKE LOCALLY, PROVINCIALLY AND NATIONALLY

In 2024, the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce actively participated in shaping policies at both the provincial and national levels. Through the BC Chamber network, we collaborated with chambers across the province to craft policies addressing BC’s business priorities, including Revelstoke’s unique needs. Nationally, we engaged in the Canadian Chamber’s resolution process to influence federal advocacy. These policies guide our efforts, ensuring a strong voice for Revelstoke businesses on issues that matter most. You can view the latest policy documents on the Advocacy page of our website.

REVELSTOKE CHAMBER LAUNCHES COMPREHENSIVE BUSINESS RETENTION AND EXPANSION INITIATIVE WITH ETSI-BC FUNDING

The Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce, with funding from ETSI-BC, has launched a Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) initiative to support local businesses. This project will involve comprehensive surveys, community engagement, and actionable strategies to address business challenges and foster economic growth. The BRE initiative aims to strengthen Revelstoke’s business ecosystem by identifying opportunities and resources tailored to local needs. MEMBER PORTAL - Are you making the most of your membership?

In 2024, we introduced our Member Portal to improve user experience and provide meaningful tools. Through the portal, and it's companion mobile app, MemberPlus, our members can;

• access their resources and benefits,
• register for events,
• post events and job/volunteer/commercial space listings (web only),
• control their billing and contact information with the Chamber,
• create an engaging Directory Listing, which is viewable on our website.

In 2025, we want to increase member familiarity with the portal and are excited to explore new features such as Forums, where sector-specific discussions will address key issues affecting local businesses. We’ll soon be introducing a directory listing optimization service, designed to boost your listings visibility in search results and increase referral opportunities from our website.
