Your Inspiration for the Month

The Inspiration of the Month is in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and LGBTQ+ History Month, “if time is queer/and memory is trans/and my hands hurt in the cold/then” by Roque Salas Rivera which is a really delicate, but beautiful read. It takes a little effort to grasp, but in a way that feels like the title itself. It’s hard to hold some things when our hands are cold and they feel thick and stubborn. Allow your mind to warm to this poem.

NASW-MO Chapter's Program Committee is looking for New Members to join the committee. The committee meets the 3rd Monday of the month via Zoom at 8:00 pm. For more information: LeAnn.Lawlor@gmail.com

We had students, professors, case managers, clinicians, and two NASW-MO members who have been members of NASW for over 50 years each!
