Peace,
The Stewardship Team

Recycling centers have found that recycling many types of plastics and metals is unprofitable. So DeKalb County and other counties have had to significantly change their rules about what they accept. Putting other types of materials into the blue recycling containers can ruin the whole container. In particular, they have gone from accepting most plastics to taking only taking very specific types.
| | |
One way that we, as people of faith, are called to be stewards of creation, is to recycle waste whenever we can. Please follow the link below if you use our recycle bins. DeKalb County significantly changed their rules about what they accept - particularly regarding plastics.
