KML Facility Expansion Dedication & Open House

On Sunday, November 30, 2025, we invite you to join us for a special celebration of God's faithfulness and the incredible blessings he has provided. We would be honored to celebrate with you the dedication of our facility expansion and rejoice together in this joyful milestone.

Our annual open house for families of prospective students will follow the dedication.

• 1:45 PM: Self-Guided Tours / New Facility Open House
• 1:45-3:45 PM: Open House for Prospective Students & Families with Guided Tour of the School (Final tour begins at 3:15 PM)

Call News

Pastor N. Martin Mielke continues to deliberate the call to teach Word of God 11 & 12 at KML. Pastor Mielke currently serves as the pastor at Ascension Lutheran Church in Sarasota, FL. Please keep Pastor Mielke in your prayers as he deliberates where best to use his gifts to serve the Lord.

Job Openings

Learning Center Assistant

The KML Learning Center has an immediate part-time position open for individuals to work with students 2-3 times per week for approximately 15-20 hours each week. A high school diploma is required.

Gift Planning Officer

KML is looking to fill the position of Gift Planning Officer in the Mission Advancement Office. The Gift Planning Officer is responsible for supporting the KML Federation through current and deferred giving, estate planning, and alumni engagement. This individual is a member of the Mission Advancement Team and is directly accountable to the Director of Mission Advancement. The position is full-time with benefits. KML desires this person to start December 1, 2025.

KML Theatre Double Feature

Don’t miss KML Theatre’s double feature on Friday, October 31, at 7:00 PM and Saturday, November 1, at 2:00 PM. The Children’s Theatre production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Book by Tim Kelly, Music and Lyrics by Bill Francoeur, will be performed at KML as well as the One Act play Return of the Script by Don Zolidis.

Tickets will be sold at the door beginning 30 minutes before each public performance. All tickets are general admission, $5 each, and give entry to both shows in the double feature.

Estate Planning Night

Local estate planning attorney Robert Melick will present on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) Lobby from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. Whether you have your estate plan all set up, or are just starting to think about wills, trusts, etc., this will be an informative session for you. Toward the end of the presentation, you will have the ability to ask Attorney Melick questions. 

Additionally, Attorney Melick has partnered with the KML Legacy Foundation to provide discounted creation of wills for your family. For just $100, you can get a professionally crafted will. And to make things better? Attorney Melick has agreed to donate that $100 back to the KML Legacy Foundation. This is a great chance to meet with Attorney Melick prior to potentially working with him.

Veterans Day Observance

KML’s annual Veterans Day Observance will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 9:20 AM in the KML PAC. Doors open at 9:00 AM. All are invited to attend. No RSVP necessary. More info at kmlhs.org/veterans.
