National Park Service budget cuts, oil and gas leases on federally protected land, and an increased disrespect for America’s Pre-Columbian history are literally destroying them.

Ancient America Tour Series
. MEC’s Director Dr. Ed Barnhart will lead five tours in 2019 to some of America’s most amazing archaeological sites.
Here are the five tours:
April 24-29: Ancient Pyramids of the Mississippi River Basin
September 26-30: Ancient Earthworks of Ohio
October 11-16: Ancestral Pueblo in the Four Corners
November 8-10: Ancient Rock Art of the Lower Pecos, Texas
November 22– 25: Ancient Pyramids of Georgia and Alabama
