All Saints’ Preschool Fundraising Idea Generation Discussion | | |
|
Sunday, February 18 after the 10 am service
Please join Laurie Geiger on Sunday, Feb 18 during coffee hour for a discussion about fund raising ideas to support our Preschool reopening! We will meet for 30 minutes after the 10 am service. Grab a coffee and a snack – fun fact, the Geiger’s are hosting coffee hour so they promise good snacks – and join Laurie to do some brainstorming on fund raising activities we will be doing over the next several months. No commitments required, we are looking for your creative ideas for fund raising programs that we can use to create greater visibility and participation across Glen Rock and the surrounding communities. Some ideas to get you thinking – raffle a week at your vacation home, a month of dog walking, cater a dinner party…. All are encouraged to attend and all ideas are welcomed! Thanks in advance and see you on Sunday!!

Annual Spring Retreat
at Holy Cross Monastery
Friday, April 5 - Sunday, April 7
Topic: PREPARING FOR JOY!
Facilitator: Dr. Anne Silver
With so many things in our lives to take care of, work on,
and worry about, we can easily miss opportunities to
experience joy. On this retreat, using prayer, Scripture, and discussion, we will consider how to recognize and welcome the sources of joy in our lives.
Facilitator - Dr. Anne Silver
When - April 5 - 7, 2024. Friday afternoon through noontime dinner on Sunday.
Where - Holy Cross Monastery, West Park, NY.
Cost - $250.00 for two nights in a single room including all meals. The retreat begins Friday afternoon and concludes at 1:30 on Sunday following dinner.
This year we have an unusual opportunity. Because early interest has been so high, we exceeded the number of rooms we had reserved. Fortunately, we have been able to secure more rooms and currently have 5 rooms available. If we fill those rooms, we will be the only group at the monastery for the weekend.
For more information, speak to any member of the Healing Prayer Ministry - Kate Gill, Sue Morgan, Jane
Sullivan or Nancy Treacy. Also, visit the Holy Cross website <holycrossmonastery.com> to learn more about the monastery and what to expect.
Sue Morgan is maintaining the sign-up list. Please let her know if you wish to attend <sue.morgan1066@gmail.com> You will receive a confirmation email in early February with information about payment, carpooling, etc.
We hope to see you there!
The Healing Prayer Ministry.
