This World Communion Sunday, we gather around the table as one community, celebrating the beautiful truth that we are stronger when we are together.
Join us for our All Means All service as Pastor Jay Dudley brings the message, “Unified, Not Untied,” rooted in Psalm 133:1–3. We are also grateful to welcome Tabernacle of Grace as they join us for worship.
Together, we’ll celebrate what it means to be united in faith, love, and community while honoring the many people and traditions that make up the body of Christ.
All are welcome. All means all. Come worship with us!

All beloved beasts are welcome! Dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, reptiles, and every other creature who holds a special place in your heart can join us for this time of blessing, gratitude, and community.
Bring your people, bring your pets, and come celebrate the gift of creation together. We can’t wait to see you and your beloved beasts!

Reconciliation Offering This Sunday
This Sunday, October 4, we will receive the Reconciliation Ministry Special Offering for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
This year’s offering invites us to move beyond restoration to hope in action. Our gifts support education, programming, and grants that help congregations and Disciples ministries dismantle racism, strengthen relationships, and build beloved community.
Half of every gift remains in the region where it is received, helping put reconciliation into action right here in our communities.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping build a more just, faithful, and hopeful future.

Worship Guide and Resource Updates
As our office software technology continues to change, so do the tools we use to communicate and share information with our congregation. Because of some recent software changes, you may notice some differences in our Worship Guide and worship slides in the weeks ahead.
We are working to find systems that are accessible, reliable, and work well for our congregation. There may be a few bumps along the way as we learn and adjust, so we appreciate your patience and flexibility.
Most of all, thank you for growing with us through these technology transitions. Please keep our church, our staff, and this process in your prayers as we seek wisdom and the best ways to support our worship and ministry.
We are grateful for your grace, patience, and willingness to navigate these changes with us.

Broadway at PrideFest a Success
We are collecting all pictures of last weekend's events and parade. If you have any to share, please send them to Leslie LeSieur. Please check out a great article in the Missouian with a special thank you to Ellen Flottman for representing Broadway Christian Church and our community with such a beautiful reminder of who we are: a place where love leads and All Means All.
We are grateful for opportunities to show up, share our welcome, and celebrate alongside our Columbia community. PrideFest was a wonderful reminder that there is joy in gathering together, making space for one another, and letting people know they are seen, valued, and loved.
Thank you, Ellen, and thank you to everyone from Broadway who helped us show up and share the love this weekend!

Cross Missouri Crop Hunger Walk
Don Harter is preparing to make his 310 mile journey to help relieve hunger locally. He will set off THIS Sunday afternoon. As part of this effort, we’ll also be kicking off the 310 Food Drive Challenge. Our goal is to collect 310 non-perishable food items, one for every mile Don walks, by October 11. Last year Broadway's support brought in over 380 items and we would love to beat that record. Bring your items (see the list in the flyer above) and join us in supporting by stocking the shelves for this important cause. BONUS: You will find delicious donuts each Sunday to reward your journey to Fellowship Hall to place your items!
While Don is beginning this trek this Sunday, you can join him on the trail. Visit this signup and consider keeping him company during one of the trek days!
Remember you can also help Don Harter by walking or donating in the Cross Missouri CROP Hunger Walk , a meaningful journey to raise awareness and support for hunger relief.

Thank You Broadway
Dear Broadway Family,
Thank you so very much for the generous gift that was collected and given to me as a going away present. I will put it to good use. Thank you to Ashley, Abigail, and the youth group for hosting the gathering, and I appreciate all who were able to attend and send me on my way. I loved reading everyone’s messages and will be reminded of the love of Broadway no matter where I am. I am so grateful for the support my church family has given to me growing up, and the foundation you have provided. I have so many memories growing up at Broadway that shaped me into the person I am today. I’m glad I was able to help lead the youth group over the past couple of years and to give back to them some of which I received.
As for the beginning of my new career, I’m currently in a holding pattern, as I wait to find out when I will be completing my final training. In the meantime, I’ve been doing a variety of things, such as traveling and pet sitting, so I’ve not been around Columbia much. I will be back to Broadway to visit whenever I can!
Thank you again for your love, support, and generosity. -Maggie Meade
