Mission Trip to Henderson Settlement

This coming Sunday, 19 students, 5 youth chaperones, and 11 adult team members from Birmingham and Berkley First will travel to Frakes, Kentucky to serve at Henderson Settlement. The youth will help lead games and activities in the summer recreation program and take on hands-on work projects like painting and cleaning. Adults will serve wherever needed—from the Food Pantry and Baby Pantry to the Thrift Store and Greenhouse—and assist on a special field trip to Pine Mountain Resort with the rec program kids. All this while reconnecting with friends at the Settlement and sharing God’s love through service, play, and fellowship. Please continue to pray for our missionaries throughout the week. We look forward to hearing all about their trip next week, July 20 in worship when Rev. Rachael Dunlap preaches about "Faith in Action."
