2025 Compassion Camp is now in the books, and it was an amazing success!
44 children. 40 committed volunteers. Fun crafts, music time, and Bible stories. We also made sure to spend some time caring for others with a week-long service project. And then we topped it all off on Friday with waterslides, bubble wands, and popsicles. All of this and more went into five great days of fun and learning.
Once again, the thoughtful planning and disciplined organization of Anna Grace Claunch made all the difference. Thank you, Anna Grace, for spearheading another great week of Compassion Camp!
Thanks also to our faithful volunteers who kept everyone safe and also joined in the fun along the way. The children this year were especially engaged, curious, and well-behaved, and we feel blessed to have enjoyed their company throughout the week.
While the halls of LAC are much quieter today, we are still feeling inspired by the energy that made this place hum with joy last week. It was a great end to a great summer at Larchmont Avenue Church, and we want to thank all of the kids and families who made it all so special!
