Dear Families,

In a month of thanksgivings, I am ever thankful to all you parents for getting your kids here for church, formation, special events, Wednesday nights, and more. I know it is a busy life with young kids and Atlanta traffic can be a bear! But you are making a choice and your kids see that the Church and this community are important to your family's life. I am honored to travel on this journey with you and your kids and count you all as blessings in my life.

Special thanks to all the parents that just stepped in to help with the Children's Service last Sunday, it definitely takes a village! So many of our Saints' family let me know how much that service means to them and how happy they are to see the children taking on servant leadership roles.

Just a quick note of reminders:

Advent Adventure - if you can help at a table with a craft, please sign up with QR code below. If you have a Nativity to share, bring it Sunday.

St. Nicholas Celebration and Feast - a magical night of storytelling, singing, ringing, feasting, and fellowship. Sign up below.

Christmas Pageant - if you have a 4th or 5th grader, I need to know if you will be here for the Dec. 22 Pageant. Please email me asap!

Peace,

Kathy

Advent Adventure

Dec. 1, 10:20

Ellis Hall

It is almost time for our season of Advent where we prepare and wait for the coming of Christ. We kick off the season with an adventure in Ellis Hall where you can buy and make an Advent Wreath for your home, visit the Nativity Museum, make crafts to decorate and use in your home to mark the season, and write Advent cards to those who are lonely or may not be able to get out much during this season. It is a festive time and sets the mood for preparing for Jesus to come near!

Use the Volunteer QR Code above to volunteer to help or email Kathy Roberts

if you have a Nativity that you would like to share for the day. Simply write on a 4x5 card where the Nativity is from or why it is special to you and bring it on WNS or Sundays before the Event.

St Nicholas Celebration & Feast

Dec. 4

5:00 1st seating 6:00 St. Nick Celebration 6:45 2nd seating

Come join us in for this magical night of wondering and celebrating together. We will hear the story of St. Nick under twinkling "stars" just as our ancestors shared stories of their faith around the fire. Then we will sing Christmas carols with bell ringing by the Children's Choir, and maybe St. Nick might just make an appearance after he fills up the kid's shoes with goodies! You can't miss the Feast before of after the service with Ellis Hall decked out in a Woodland theme and lots of fabulous food and fellowship. Sign up on Realm for dinner. Bring a neighbor or friend for this welcoming night to set the mood for the Advent season.

• For more information, contact Kathy Roberts at kroberts@allsaintsatlanta.org.
