Bolton Greater Together Community Fund
Now accepting applications for new Advisory Committee members
The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has given the residents of Bolton a dynamic civic opportunity, adding another $50,000 to the original $100,000 award to meet community needs. Bolton residents play a lead role in deciding how Bolton’s funds will be used. The Bolton Advisory Committee, through solicitation of ideas from our nonprofit community, will identify needs and design a grantmaking process aimed to ensure that the community funds can have the greatest impact for the benefit of town residents. Learn more about the Bolton Greater Together Community Fund here www.hfpg.org/boltoncf.
The Bolton Advisory Committee is now accepting applications for membership from interested residents. To be eligible, you must be a resident of Bolton, at least 14 years of age and not a current elected official of Bolton. Previous experience in community organizations or grantmaking is not required, however it is expected that applicants will be willing to attend scheduled meetings averaging 1 hour a month [except July and August] and participate on a subcommittee as needed. We are very welcoming and encourage interested residents to apply!
