The Annunciation

Good morning Kristin,

In celebrating the Feast of the Annunciation, the conversation between Mary and Gabriel highlights the need for constant renewal of one's vocation, a willingness to listen deeply, and the courage to step into the unknown with faith.

With pastoral assignments announced this past weekend, we have taken yet another step forward in the establishment of our parish families. Partners in the Gospel calls each of us into an opportunity of renewal, inviting each of us to contribute our unique gifts and talents to the flourishing of our parish families. This invitation to renewal will require us to listen deeply to where God is calling us and our schools, to discern how our school ministries can deepen the work of evangelization, and to step forward with courage, trusting that God will guide and sustain us, seeking the grace to be open to God’s will for us, just as Mary was.

With gratitude,

NICHOLAS FORD | Superintendent

Office for Catholic Schools | Archdiocese of Seattle
