| | Celebrating our Mercy Grandparents | | |
What a beautiful morning of faith, family and fellowship! We were so blessed to welcome our Mercy grandparents to campus for a special Mass and reception, sharing in prayer, gratitude and the joy of being together. We cherish the love, wisdom and support our grandparents bring to our Mercy community and are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate them.

| She Leads: Inspiring the Next Generation of Mercy Leaders | | |
Our Mercy students had an incredible opportunity to learn from accomplished alumnae during our She Leads all-school assembly! Distinguished speakers Luanne Thomas Ewald ’87, Chief Operating Officer of University of Michigan Health’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital, and Joi Plain Harris ’88, President and CEO of DTE Energy, shared inspiring insights from their college, career and leadership journeys. The conversation was skillfully moderated by Rebecca Leddy McDonald ’91, Strategic Advisor and ICF-Certified Executive Coach at Rocket.
Our alumnae offered valuable advice on embracing opportunities, overcoming challenges and leading with confidence and purpose, while reflecting on how their Mercy education continues to shape their lives and careers. We are grateful for their time, wisdom and commitment to inspiring the next generation of Mercy women leaders!
Thank you to interior environments, Allor Group, Interface Flooring and Rose Moving & Storage for coordinating the loan of chairs, carpet and a side table for our She Leads assembly. Their generosity created a welcoming conversation area on stage for our alumnae speakers!
You're welcome to view the entire assembly recording here and check out photo gallery here.

Diploma Name Survey Due November 6
Seniors are to complete the Diploma Name Survey that was emailed on October 19, to ensure their name appears as they and their parents would like it printed on their official high school diploma. There is also a space in the survey for students to record themselves speaking their name as it should be pronounced when they walk across the stage. They can do this using the recording option on their iPads. Students should be sure to speak slowly and clearly and play it back before submitting to ensure that the recording quality is acceptable. The deadline for completing this is Friday, November 6.
Colleges Waiving Application Fees
Please check out the graphic below from the Michigan College Access Network or see here with list of Michigan colleges with no application fees and colleges waiving application fees. Seniors are asked to see their Counselors if they have any issues.
