What a day!

Saturday was such a great day! Thank you to all of our exhibitors, volunteers, and residents who made our 20th anniversary show possible! Congrats to Painting Pro for winning the vendor drawing for some Twins tickets! IF you did not make it out to the show, no worries - our show page, with all exhibitors listed, is up on the Chamber website all year long!

Thank you to our 2024 presenting sponsor, New Spaces, who welcomed our guests with a homey living room space. When you work with New Spaces, their approach will be very clear. Their focus is on a job well done. They have been in the business for over 30 years and are committed to exceeding standards with every remodeling project they do. They can help you create a beautiful NEW SPACE in your kitchen, basement, bathroom, mudroom, office...or the whole house! You can start your remodeling project off on the right foot by attending one of their fun and memorable events. Click HERE to see their upcoming events and check them out.

Great group!

Thank you to Buffalo Wild Wings for hosting our March Lunch Mob! This is such a fun event for member drop in connections. I hope the Gophers came back to win that one?!

See you next month!

Thank you Paul Oehme!

Thank you to Paul Oehme, Director of Public Works for City of Lakeville, for sharing ALLLLLL that his department is responsible for. So impressive. And a special thank you to all who make GML possible – The Better Half and B52, Dunn Brothers Coffee, Minnesota Energy Resources, and Interstate PowerSystems.

Great Summit this week!

This week we partnered with our Dakota and Scott County Chamber partners, the Dakota Scott Workforce Board, and counselors from school districts around the two counties to talk about how educators, chambers, and business partners can continue to work together to help guide our students as they are making post high school and career decisions. Counselors also go to hear from Tim O'Neill with DEED. Tim talked about the Twin Cities labor market, resources to scope out in-demand careers, among other data. Shout out to Chamber members Hanane Kachman from M Health Fairview and Anita Drentlaw from New Market Bank for presenting at the event!

APG/ECM will be contacting you

Our 2023-24 community guides are running low, so it is time to get working on the 2024-25 guide! We print 3,500 of these and distribute to members, our hotels, our teachers, and at various events and other customer facing locations throughout the year. As a member, your business will be listed in the directory and you will have the opportunity to purchase an ad in the magazine. These will be distributed in summer 2024.

Reason you like doing business in Lakeville:

I lived in Lakeville for years and I love the community and the people in it.

Years as a Chamber Member:

I have been a member with the Lakeville Chamber for 6 years.

Years as an Ambassador:

This is my 2nd year as an ambassador

Favorite thing about being a Lakeville Chamber member: My favorite thing about being a Lakeville Chamber member is learning more and more about Lakeville and the businesses that are in Lakeville. It seems like every event I attend I meet someone new and find out a new thing about Lakeville.

Favorite go-to meal at one of our restaurants:

Lakeville Brewing is our number 1 favorite place to eat in all of Minnesota - we go there on date nights and with the kids! There is something for everyone there.

Favorite thing to do for fun around town:

For a fun night in town, we like to go Baldy's Tailgate Bar because there is something for everyone to do; we can play games with the kids or give them a handful of cash and they can go play games so my wife and I can visit. It is the perfect family/date night spot...all in the same night!

Good Work Lakeville

Our award winning Lakeville Area Community Education program, Treats Trade & Tours wrapped up a fantastic session in March. Lakeville middle school students heard from me about what the Chamber does, and the importance of networking on their future success. Students have took field trips to the Lakeville Police Department, Allina Health Lakeville Clinic, Outdoor GreatRoom Company and Advanced Wireless Communications to learn about In-Demand careers right here in Lakeville. They also got to hear from Marilee Jager at Frandsen Bank & Trust who spoke to them about Financial Literacy.

Students also worked together to come up with a number of ideas to give back to the community through service learning projects - including a Toy Drive, an Outdoor Cleanup Day at Kenwood Trail Middle School, and making Tie-Blankets for a local organization. Shout out to the Lakeville Optimist Club who provided the supplies for the tie blankets.

A HUGE thank you to our local businesses and all the staff involved that made this another successful year.
