SCOUT SHOP

Our incredible Reservation Upkeep Service Team (RUST) volunteers completed major renovations to the TBS Trading Post, including refinishing and painting the floors, installing new washable walls in the snack bar and, most impressively, replacing the power lines running into the building. These upgrades ensure a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming space for the thousands of Scouts and families who will walk through those doors this year. Because of RUST, our camps continue to grow stronger and better prepared for the next generation of adventure. 👽 Bring a Friend to Scouts Weeks!

This spring, Scouts are invited to share the adventure during Bring a Friend to Scouts Week, taking place the weeks of April 12–25. Scouts who bring a friend to a meeting will earn a special event patch and be entered into a District drawing for the pocketknife of their choice. When a friend joins, Scouts will also receive collectible cryptid-themed avatar pins featuring Bigfoot, Alien, Chupacabra, Mothman, and a Scout. Every time a friend joins, the Scout is entered into a Council-level drawing for a free Summer Camp experience, making it the perfect time to invite a friend and start a new adventure in Scouting.

Conservation Good Turn Award

Scouting America has been a positive force in conservation and environmental efforts. Scouts have rendered distinguished public service by helping to conserve wildlife, energy, forests, soil, and water. Past generations of Scouts have been widely recognized for undertaking conservation Good Turn action projects in their local communities. Scouts of today have grown up hearing words such as ecosystem, biodiversity, and climate change. They recognize the need for, and the benefits of, conserving natural resources. Scouts understand that we all must work together for the betterment of the land, forests, wildlife, air, and water.
