STEWART, GIMBEL ADD FIRST WINS TO CAREER RESUME
The Tom Wood Group Indianapolis Speedrome Powered by Lincoln Tech launched the racing weekend on Friday July 26th. The Circle City Pyrotechnics Junior Faskarts have produced the most different winners at the track this year. The first feature would add yet another in Jayden Stewart. Stewart powered to that first career win over Hannah Poynter, Gracey Stout, Brendon Brown, and Addyson Murphy. The second main event saw reigning champion Tyler Morefield best over Noah Perkinson, Johnny Bishop, John Hargraves Jr, and Trinity Armour. Heat races were won by Murphy, Perkinson, and Stout.
 
John Gimbel has been trying and trying to win an EnergyPros.com Ford Figure 8 feature. Finally on Friday it all lined up as Gimbel stormed to victory over Late Model ace Casey White. Mason Hadley was third besting Josh Fults and Matt Witty. The 25-lap oval feature saw Quentin White add a win in yet another division to his resume. Tyler Conley tied his career best in second followed by Andrew Brown, Witty, and Gimbel. Fults and Witty won preliminaries.
 
The Last Chance Wrecker Factory Front Wheel Drives wheeled into the penultimate round of the June-July title fight first with heat races. Scott Stewart Jr and Stephen Egner won those tests. The feature had Nigel Peters continue his comeback with a second season triumph. Egner was runner-up trailed by Ricky Johnson, Kyle Dubecky, and Andrew Brown. The Powder Puff Feature came down to the last lap when Emerald Gill passed Kristin Armour for the victory. Angie Morefield was third followed by Nicole Johnson, Ashley Summers, and Kelly Paro.
 
The Reef Aquarium Shop Adult Faskarts season championship has been an interesting affair. Dominating winners vs consistent finishers and somewhere in between are the strategies in play. On this evening, it was former champ Cody Kennedy scoring his second victory of the campaign. Point leader Dayton Shouse finished second followed by heat winner Kyle Norris, Dave Drinkard, and David Gehrke.
