Habitat Closes On First Phase Of 700+ Unit Marine Drive Redevelopment In Buffalo, NY

Taylor Johnson client Habitat recently made history with the closing of Phase I of the Marine Drive Apartments redevelopment in Buffalo, N.Y., a transformative, multiphase project that will replace 616 aging public housing units with more than 700 modern, affordable homes. Habitat’s “build first” approach will allow all current residents to remain in their homes until new apartments are completed, ensuring there will be no displacement during construction. TJ worked closely with Habitat, as well as representatives from co-developers Duvernay + Brooks and the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority, multiple lending partners and New York State officials, to announce the closing through a press release. To date, the news generated regional and national media interest, resulting in coverage by The Buffalo News, New York Real Estate Journal, Multifamily & Affordable Housing Business and Yield PRO, with more to come.
