The Academy is pleased to announce that Hope S. Ladner will represent us at the Capitol this year.
Ladner, a native of Jackson, works for The Clay Firm as a policy analyst and legislative strategist. She has worked in the legislative arena for over 17 years and has helped shape public health policy for the state. She previously worked as the Legislative Liaison and Policy Analyst for the Mississippi State Department of Health and as the Public Information Officer for the Mississippi Senate.
Ladner graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi with her B.A. in Psychology. She earned her M.A. from Louisiana State University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
As you know, Ashley Thompson represented us for many successful years. She in fact recommended Hope as a good fit for MAFP. We wish Ashley the very best.
