CSA Finance Department Updates
Thank you to all property owners that have remitted their 2020 Annual Assessments on time. Please note that if you had not remitted payment by January 31, 2020 you are being subject to a late fee as well as interest on your outstanding balance.

CSA Maintenance Department Updates
Tree Care Management Occurring In Select CSA Managed Locations
 
  • Tree work will continue on leisure trails and roadways in the Baynard Park and Old Military area over next week, weather permitting. Intermittent closures on the leisure trails may be necessary.

  • Tree work will occur next week along Greenwood Drive from the Greenwood Gate to Sea Pines Drive, weather permitting. Intermittent closures on the roadway may be necessary. Flag persons will be present as needed to control traffic.

  • Tree work will occur along Lighthouse Rd from Stoney Creek Rd to Sea Pines Drive, weather permitting. Intermittent closures on the roadway may be necessary. Flag persons will be present as needed to control traffic.

  • Removal of select trees along Plantation Drive will continue to occur next week, February 10th-14th, weather permitting. This work includes the removal of select trees along this area that are in decline, have been affected by numerous weather events such as Hurricane Matthew and pose a safety risk. These trees were approved for removal by the Town of Hilton Head Island and CSA will be replanting new trees as part of our mitigation as budget allows. Intermittent closures on the roadway may be necessary to complete this work and flag persons will be present as needed to control traffic.
 
Road Reconstruction Project: Phase 2 of Greenwood Drive from Governors Road to Plantation Drive

  • Paving and construction work on the roadway and leisure trail along Greenwood Drive will continue to take place next week, weather permitting.
  • Flag persons will be present as needed to control traffic with alternating single lane closures in the designated work zone.
  • Motorists should expect traffic delays in the project area, to avoid the project area, please use the Ocean Gate. Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage and devices.
  • Work will take place on Saturday, February 8th, weather permitting
  • Expected project completion: End of February, weather permitting.

  • Drainage, roadway, leisure trail construction and curb repairs will continue next week, weather permitting.
  • Construction work will be taking place on Saturday, February 8th, weather permitting.
  • Bikers and pedestrians need to aware of the leisure trail construction work, possibly having to dismount their bikes and yield to flag persons
  • Motorists should expect traffic delays from Plantation Drive to Harbour Town. Flag persons will be present as needed to control traffic.
  • Expected project completion: End of February, weather permitting.

Sea Pines Security Department Updates
Coyote Trapping Occurring in Gull Point and Marsh Island Areas

In an effort to manage the coyote population in Sea Pines, The Sea Pines Security Department is performing coyote trapping in the Gull Point and Marsh Island areas over the next 30 days. We would like to remind everyone to not let pets roam free and ensure they follow the leash law requirements when in the community. If you feel a coyote is becoming a threat, call the Sea Pines Security Department Dispatch phone line at 843.671.7170. Our Wildlife Officer of the Security Department will respond and evaluate the situation.

Commercial Vendor, Employee, Relative and Long Term Renter Decal Deadline was February 3rd
